Career Guidance for Commerce Students at MLB

In an effort to guide students toward a brighter professional future, Government Maharani Lakshmi Bai Girls College hosted an insightful workshop on “Employment Opportunities in Commerce” this Wednesday. The event, organized by the Department of Commerce and the Swami Vivekananda Career Guidance Cell, aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the diverse career opportunities available in the commerce field.
The workshop brought together expert speakers who shared their valuable insights on emerging job sectors. Students had the chance to learn about opportunities in banking, digital marketing, and finance, gaining a clearer vision of potential career paths.
Sanjay Tiwari spoke about career prospects in banking, while Manish provided an overview of the growing field of digital marketing. Sunil introduced a 28-day free training program focused on banking and finance, helping students understand how to enhance their qualifications for the job market.
Additionally, Faisal Khan and Meghna discussed the Ayushman Bharat scheme, offering guidance on how to create Ayushman Cards. They also emphasized the importance of health and financial awareness in today’s world.
Ajay Agarwal, the Principal of the college, encouraged students to stay updated with digital trends and adapt to the changing professional landscape. Over 300 students from various undergraduate and postgraduate courses participated in the event, making it a highly engaging and successful session.
The event’s success was made possible through the careful planning of Jayashree Malviya, while Archana Shukla managed the session and thanked everyone for their participation at the conclusion.
