CEO Demands Panchayat Work Done in 10 Days
The official is beginning to get a grip on things in the district

District Panchayat CEO Ila Tiwari on Friday told officials to wrap up all pending projects under Fanda Janpad Panchayat within ten days—or face consequences. She’s also asked for a list of employees slacking off on their duties.
At a meeting in the District Panchayat Hall, Tiwari went over the progress of schemes like PM Awas Yojana, MGNREGA, Swachh Bharat Mission, and the 15th Finance Commission.
She also talked about the Jal Jeevan Mission and village connectivity surveys under the Sanyukt Sambandhta App. Janpad CEO Shankar Panse and Rural Engineering Services Executive Engineer Jitendra Ahirwar were present.
Tiwari pushed for getting more workers involved in MGNREGA while keeping to the labour-to-material ratio. She told officials to speed up e-KYC for PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries and issue Ayushman cards quickly for those aged 70 and above.
Under the Amrit 2.0 scheme, sub-engineers and panchayat secretaries were put in charge of GIS-based site selection and picking five model gram panchayats. Officials were also reminded to submit reports on complaints from public hearings and senior offices without dragging their feet.
Not happy with delays in boulder check construction at Noronha Sankal village, Tiwari gave the assistant engineer, sub-engineer, secretary, and employment assistant a scolding—then ordered them to get the job done within a week.
She also told Janpad CEO Panse to draft a proposal naming non-performers so action can be taken against them.
