Chief Minister attends Prantiya Abhaar Sammelan of M.P. Shikshak Congress

The Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that teachers are foundation of students’ future. If the foundation is strong, then certainly the future of our students will be bright. The Chief Minister was addressing the Prantiya Abhaar Sammelan
(Thanksgiving Programme) of the Madhya Pradesh Teachers Congress at Samanvaya Bhavan. He felicitated the outstanding teachers of the Teachers Congress on this occasion.
CM Nath said that there has been a big transformation in the education field. The mindset of the students has changed and the methods of education have changed too. With new technology and new resources, how we can impart
better education to our younger generation is a major challenge before the teachers. He further stated that it is needed today to connect the younger generation with our culture, civilization and rituals. Along with the education, teachers
should teach the students to give respect to their traditions and family. CM Kamal Nath said that the teachers should not confine education to bookish knowledge only. He said that if our education system is weak, we will not be able to
build country’s better future. We have to stop disorientation among the youth and give them the right direction and vision. We have to develop such an education system that develops creative mindset in students. The Chief Minister
said that our education should have such strength, which helps our future generation to imbibe the greatness of this country, its strength and the importance of unity in diversity.
CM Nath assured the teachers that the teachers related promises made in the manifesto will be fulfilled by the government. He said ‘I don’t make announcements but show it by working’. The biggest challenge before us is how to
improve the poor condition and economy of our State. We are giving special attention to it with priority.
The Minister for School Education Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary said that the state government has made wide scale reforms in quality of education. Under this, responsible education is being promoted by linking schools, teachers,
children and their parents. NCERT books have been introduced in schools. Special efforts are being made to enhance teachers’ efficiency. The Board examination of the 5th and 8th classes has been re-started, he added.
The Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said that a syllabus to give better education to our students should be prepared. He further said that subjects covered in the syllabus should be constantly reviewed.
The Former M.P. Rameshwar Nikhra also addressed the programme. The Minister for Cooperatives Dr. Govind Singh, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Tulsi Silawat, Minister for Public Relations P.C. Sharma and Minister for
