CM congratulates people on successful launch of Chandrayan-2

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated all the citizens of the country, especially the scientists, technicians and staff associated with the ISRO, on successful launch of India’s ambitious mission ‘Chandrayan-2’ today from Sriharikota.

He said that India has taken a big leap in the field of space science and has set a new milestone.

Chief Minister said in his message that all the citizens of the country are overjoyed on this prestigious achievement of Indian scientists and he wished that just like Chandrayan-1, Chandrayan 2 will also complete all the levels successfully.

“Once again, Chandrayan-2 will have successful soft landing, while its loonier orbiter, lander and wheeler rover will also achieve its objectives,” Baghel said.

Chief Minister has expressed hope that India will soon become the fourth country in the world, after Russia, America and China to have the efficiency to do soft landing on moon.

This space mission of India and the important data collected from the same will give a new direction to space science in India and in the world as a whole, he added.
