CM Chouhan Joins Dancing Uncle’s Growing Fan Club
Bhopal: A 50-year-old professor from Madhya Pradesh who became an internet sensation overnight with his Govinda-ish dance moves has fans in all the high places. The latest is none other than Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Chouhan tweeted the wildly popular video of Professor Sanjeev Srivastava dancing to actor Govinda’s 1987 chartbuster Aap Ke Aa Jane Se at a wedding and boasted that there was “something special in Madhya Pradesh water”.
The video has been shared across social media platforms and several Bollywood celebrities stepped in to turn the “dancing uncle” into an overnight sensation.
A Twitter user who goes by the handle @Bhaiyyaji even shared a photo purportedly of Srivastava in his youth and Twitterati were quick to point out his resemblance to Govinda.
The video was first shared on Twitter by Gautam Trivedi and within the first 24 hours, it was viewed over 165K times and retweeted nearly 4,800 times.
From there on, netizens took it upon themselves to make the middle-aged professor the latest internet hero.
