CM to honour writer Satish Jaiswal today

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will felicitate renowned writer Satish Jaiswal with the 21st ‘Vasundhara Samman’ at a function here on August 14.

The function will be organized by the monthly magazine ‘Vasundhara’ to mark the 45th death anniversary of Devi Prasad Choubey.

Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat will preside over the function to be organized in collaboration with the Chhattisgarh government and Shri Chaturbhuj Memorial Foundation.

Renowned journalist and Editor Himanshu Dwivedi will address the function.

Vasundhara Samman was launched in 2001. The winners include Ramesh Nayyar, Kumar Sahu, Shyamlal Chaturvedi, Basant Kumar Tiwari, Baban Prasad Mishra, Diwakar Muktibodh, Tushar Kanti Bose and E.V. Murali.
