Workshop on Climate Change and Human Health Today
Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla to inaugurate; officials from a dozen departments to participate

A training workshop under the National Climate Change and Human Health Programme is being held today at EPCO, organised by the Bhopal Chief Medical and Health Officer’s office.
Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla and Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patel will inaugurate the event. Senior officials from the health department, EPCO’s Executive Director R Uma Maheshwari, State Knowledge Centre Coordinator Dr Lokendra Thakkar, and Bhopal CMHO Dr Prabhakar Tiwari will attend.
The workshop will bring together government and private doctors, alongside representatives from public health, panchayat, AIIMS, animal husbandry, fisheries, IISER, UNICEF, poultry, agriculture, police, malaria control, municipal, and prison departments.
CMHO Dr Prabhakar Tiwari stated that discussions will focus on the negative effects of climate change on human health and wildlife. UNICEF is providing key support for the event.
