Date of age calculation of MP State Service Examination should be January 1, 2019

Bhopal: General Administration Minister Dr. Govind Singh has issued instructions to the Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration that the age calculation of the State Service Examination 2019 should be done as on January 1, 2019. Ensure immediate necessary action in this regard as per rules. It may be noted that Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has mentioned in the advertisement for the State Service Examination 2019, the age calculation of the applicants appearing for the examination to be done as on January 1, 2020. Due to increase in age calculation by one year, many applicants will be deprived of appearing in the examination.
General Administration Minister Dr. Govind Singh has said in his letter that since the age calculation of Madhya Pradesh State Service Examination year 2018 was done as on January 1, 2018, hence the age calculation of the State Service Examination 2019 should be done as on January 1, 2019.
The applicants personally and through the letter had apprised the General Administration Minister that the Public Service Commission has written the age calculation date probably due to the error as January 1, 2020 in place of January 1, 2019 for Madhya Pradesh State Service Examination 2019 as. This will deprive the eligible applicants of appearing in the examination. This error should be rectified immediately.
In this regard, the Minister of General Administration had earlier written a letter to the Principal Secretary Personnel on November 27 and directed to take necessary action. Since the last date for filling the examination form is December 9, 2019, Minister Dr. Govind Singh has given instructions to take immediate action in this regard.
