Expansion of rail services

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that with the expansion of rail facilities in Chhatarpur and Khajuraho the development of the region will get a boost. Besides, tourism activities will also be encouraged. Chief Minister Chouhan has welcomed the announcements made during the stay of Union Railway Minister  Ashwini Vaishnav in Khajuraho.

It is worth mentioning that during his two-day visit to Khajuraho, the Union Railway Minister Vaishnav made announcements about converting Khajuraho railway station into a world class railway station, starting Vande Bharat train from Khajuraho, building two more rake points at Chhatarpur and Khajuraho and refining the terracotta art of Chhatarpur by the railways.
