Gift from CM, 8% Dearness allowance for state government employees

BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh has said that additional installment of 8% Dearness Allowance (DA) will be provided to state government employees from January 1 this year.

Chouhan made the announcement while laying foundation stone and dedicating construction works worth about Rs. 27.66 crore at village Budha in Malhargarh block of Mandsaur district on Saturday. He also announced construction of an over-bridge at Malhargarh, survey for two-lane work of Sanjit-Mandsour road, Rs. one core each for urban bodies and Rs 25 lakh for development works in Budha panchayat area.

Chouhan also said as part of efforts to make agriculture profitable, bonus is being paid on procurement of wheat and paddy. and farm loan at zero% interest is being provided to farmers. He said interests of opium farmers would be protected.
