Governor Tandon takes part in new session programme of Atal Behari Hindi University

Governor Lalji Tandon said that special status should be given to the Hindi University in the name of Atal Behari Vajpayee. The posts in the University should be filled only by the teachers who are providing services in the university
on low salaries. The Governor said this at the inaugural session programme organized at the Academy of Administration of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University today on the occasion of Hindi Divas. Higher Education Minister Jitu
Patwari who was present on the occasion announced to follow the Governor’s advice verbatim. Public Relations and Law and Legislative Affairs Minister P.C. Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Governor Tandon said that Hindi has the ability to absorb every language and dialect spoken in the country. Affection towards local dialect and language must not be considered as being opposed to Hindi. The need is to connect it with
self-respect. The tendency to mix English in Hindi must be avoided. He said that Hindi was the language of the freedom movement. Gujarati-speaking Mahatma Gandhi was its biggest supporter.
Governor Tandon said that Hindi has taken the legacy of thousands of years old culture of Sanskrit. The whole world is looking towards Hindi for that knowledge. The need is dedication and service to Hindi. He said that when the
former Prime Minister decided to give a speech in Hindi at the United Nations, it was told that the expenditure incurred in its arrangements would have to be paid to the United Nations which was quite high. He said that there is nothing
more than the honour of Hindi. Litterateur Shrinath Chaturvedi had refused the honour of Rs one lakh for Hindi at one time. Honouring his feelings, the Samaj had provided that amount. He said that Hindi will become the language of the
world. Nobody can stop it. Hindi should be enriched by maximum translation of medical, technical knowledge and literature of other languages.
Public Relations and Law and Legislative Affairs Minister PC Sharma said that Hindi is rapidly expanding due to which it will become a global language. He said that Indian tapestry, Army, religious places, rail have contributed
significantly in the spread of Hindi. He said that the words of non-Hindi languages ​​should be included openly in Hindi. Physicians, scientists, and those specializing in the field of engineering should write books in Hindi.
Higher Education Minister Jitu Patwari said that Hindi is instilled in our very breath. We should be proud that Hindi is our mother tongue. He said that Hindi incorporates everyone in the same way just as everyone becomes involved in
Hinduism. Hindi teaches lessons of brotherhood and affinity. He said that the spirit of Hindi Hai Hum, Sare Jahan Se Achcha Hindustan Hamara is in the heart of every Indian irrespective of whether he resides in India or abroad. He said
that one day Hindi is sure to become the official language of the United Nations.
The main speaker of the programme, Convenor Hindi Abhiyan Parishad United Nations, Ram Sagar Shukla said that Madhya Pradesh is way ahead of other states in the country in the spread of Hindi. It is estimated to be the main
contact language of the world by the year 2050. The need is to consider its international form. The international form of Hindi language was implemented by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Ramdev Bhardwaj. The welcome speech
