Let’s go to Chidikho, Jungle Caravan starts
Bhopal. To get the glimpse of Beautiful Chidikho is easier now. Madhya Pradesh Eco-Tourism Development Board has prepared a one-day tour package by the name of “Jungle Caravan” for the nature lovers to enjoy their holidays in Chidikho. Besides touring the attractive area, tourists will also get an opportunity to visit the historic Narsingarh Fort.
Attractive tourist spot Chidikho is just 75 kilometers away from Bhopal. Chidikho is a lake, which looks like a bird with spread wings. Tourists are awestruck by its beauty. The one-day Chidikho tour package offers a lot of fun for tourists including jungle safari, boating, rock climbing, rappelling, bullock cart ride, bird watching, mountain biking, angling (catching fish and releasing it back into the water) etc. The all-weather lake has six pedal boats for tourists’ enjoyment. The special feature of the one-day tour package is that a guide will also be made available to them to provide detailed information about flora and fauna, birds and area’s topography. Even though people go on sightseeing tours on their own enjoy nature generally but are unable to have knowledge about concerning the area. The package tour will also fulfil this requirement.
Chidikho tour package : Chidikho tour package is available for weekends and holidays. The tour package will commence from 9 am at MP Eco-Tourism Board situated at Urja Bhavan on Link Road at Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal and reach Chidikho Nature Interpretation Centre at 11 am. After spending one hour at the center, tourists will enjoy jungle safari from 12.15 to 2 pm. After lunch between 2 and 2.30 pm, tourists will enjoy adventure sports upto 3.50 pm following which they will proceed to Narsingarh Fort situated 10 kilometers away. After touring the fort, tourists will leave for Bhopal in the evening.
Rs. 800 per head will be charged for Chidikho package. Tour will be in group. Each group will have 12 to 25 persons. The Eco-Tourism Board will provide lunch and breakfast to tourists. One of special features of the package is that local people have been involved in it. Due to it, people will have full information about the location for full enjoyment. Besides, it will also give employment to people at their native place.
