M.P. Among Leading States for Implementing Rashtriya Bazar and Amrut Yojana

Bhopal. The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reviewed the implementation of schemes and programmes of national importance in Madhya Pradesh through Pragati Video Conferencing today. Shri Modi apprised himself about the progress of Rashtriya Krishi Bazar Yojana. The Rashtriya Krishi Bazar Yojana is being implemented with an aim to establish one electronic trading platform for the entire country by linking Krishi Upaj Mandis and Mandi Premises of all the states. PM Shri Modi lauded the implementation of Amrut yoajna being implemented to provide basic facilities in small cities and towns and Rashtriya Krishi Bazar yojana.

It is informed in the conferencing that Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states of the country for implementation of both the schemes. It may be mentioned that all the necessary legal amendments have been made in the state for establishment of Rashtriya Krishi Bazar Yojana. Scheme is being implemented in 20 krishi upaj mandis.

Chief Secretary Shri Antony De Sa expressed the need in the conferencing to develop necessary system to make the scheme more practical and dynamic like development of software in regional languages, increase in the speed of server to facilitate it on tablet, availability of trading facility, inclusion of third party in warehousing and transportation and to eliminate legal problems in commercial trade .
