Madhya Pradesh keen to collaborate with Israel in agriculture sector

Bhopal. A 5-member delegation led by Israeli Consul General Shri David Akov met Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Gaurishankar Bisen here today. Shri Bisen said that Madhya Pradesh is keen to collaborate with Israel in agriculture sector.

Shri Bisen said that the state government has chalked out a roadmap to double farmers’ income and work is progressing at a rapid pace in this regard. He desired for Israel’s cooperation in production of fruits and flowers. Besides, he also wished to hold discussion with Israel on collaboration in seed production, farm mechanization and post-harvest technology.

Consular General Shri Akov said that his government wishes to collaborate with Madhya Pradesh with better coordination in farm sector. He informed about his country’s collaboration in agriculture sector with Maharashtra government.
