Natural beauty of Bhopal must be enhanced

Bhopal: Bhopal is known for its natural beauty. The plan for development of Bhopal city must focus on the enhancement of natural beauty of the city. Urban Development and Housing
Minister Jaivardhan Singh said this at a seminar on ‘Urban Dialogues-Reimagining Bhopal’. Addressing the seminar, Public Relations Minister PC Sharma said that in view of the continuous
development of the city, creation of a new master-plan for Bhopal will be relevant.
Singh said that all the medium of transport of the city should be inter-connected. He said that along with Metro Rail, mono rail, bus transport, ropeway should also be inter-linked.
Simultaneously, facilities of all types of transport should be available in the same card.
Jaivardhan Singh said that the main objective of smart city is ease-of-living. He said that focus has also been laid on area-based development along with the development of the entire
city in smart city. Singh said that there is need to open new industries near Bhopal so that employment opportunities can be increased. He informed about Yuva Swabhiman Yojana also.
Singh said that ‘Sapnon ka Bhopal’ will be created under the guidance of senior citizens and with the energy of youth.
Public Relations, Law and Legal Affairs, Endowments and Science and Technology Minister PC Sharma said that Bhopal needs a new master-plan. He said that Bhopal city is developing
fast. The government’s main goal is development. In view of the concept of Smart City and keeping in view the city’s natural beauty the new master-plan has become a necessity.
Sharma said that for the smart city, it is very important to make proper arrangement of employment and education of children of the displaced persons. He said that there should be
discussion during the seminar on how traffic can be controlled better. Make a traffic plan so that no one faces any difficulties. With maximum flyovers here, traffic will be eased for the
people of the city.
