Patwari, Singhar to March in City Today, PC on 25 Hour Fast
The march is part of the party's 'Beti Bachao Campaign'

The Congress party will take out a candle march at 6 PM on Monday to mark its protest against a rise in sexual assault cases against young girls.
Party state unit chief Jitu Patwari and leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, Umang Singhar, will participate in the march at the 6 No. Stop area of the state capital.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former minister PC Sharma has said that starting at 11 AM on Tuesday, he will observe a 25-hour fast for the safety of young girls.
Sharma stated that he will begin the fast with a ceremonial ‘Kanya Pujan’ to remind the state government of the revered status accorded to women in Indian culture.
The Congress party further informed that it will soon seek help from saints and godmen to address these crimes by stressing moral conduct in their sermons.
