Sahu attends meet on Covid vaccination chaired by PM

Chhattisgarh Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu on Wednesday attended a national-level review meeting of Chief Ministers chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Covid-19 vaccination drive.

As Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is on a tour of Assam, Sahu attended the meeting via video conference.

Modi inquired about the progress of vaccination in all the states and about the steps taken to prevent the spread of infection. He gave necessary instructions.

Along with Sahu, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Renu G. Pillai, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subrat Sahoo and Secretary Siddharth Komal Pardeshi also attended the video conference.

From New Delhi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Secretary of Ministry of Public Health and Family Welfare Rajesh Bhushan were also present.
