Unemployment a big challenge: CM Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday expressed concern about unemployment among youths in the country.

Baghel told reporters here that ‘Kisan Ko Daam aur Yuvao Ko Kaam’ should be the motto for any government but Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team were acting in an adverse manner.

More than 65 percent of youth below 35 years are unemployed in the country and they pose a big challenge, he said. 

These youths have taken to the streets in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and soon this could become a common scene across the country, he said.

The BJP in its 2014 manifesto promised 2 crore jobs a year and said it will double the income of farmers by 2022 but all this has turned into day dreaming, he said.
