GWALIOR: A man allegedly consumed poison after recording three videos shared on his housing society WhatsApp group, claiming marital distress and harassment, police said.
Neighbours who viewed the videos alerted police and rushed him to hospital, where he is undergoing treatment and is stated to be stable.
Police said the private company employee was alone at home when he ingested a toxic substance during the night.
In the videos, he alleged his wife pressured him over a luxurious lifestyle and frequently engaged in late-night conversations with several men, which he claimed led to ongoing domestic conflict.
He also accused several relatives and others of harassment and claimed he had been separated from his son, which he said contributed to depression.
Police said all allegations made in the videos are under verification. Statements will be recorded after the man recovers, and no arrests have been made so far.
