BHOPAL: A photo walk was organised at Van Vihar National Park by the Photography and Visual Creation Club of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, giving cinema studies students hands-on experience in nature and wildlife photography.
Lumix India technical expert Rajesh Prajapati guided students on camera handling, focusing, zoom, shooting modes and practical techniques for wildlife photography. The photo walk was led by Aditya Kumar Chourasia.
Prajapati also demonstrated Lumix’s high-resolution zoom technology and explained how mirrorless cameras can reduce the need for specialised super-telephoto lenses in certain situations.
Students learned about lighting, framing and composition, as well as the importance of patience and sensitivity when photographing nature.
The initiative gave students an opportunity to apply classroom learning in real-world photography settings and gain practical experience in visual communication.
