Indore: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav travelled by bus from Indore to Ujjain, underscoring his emphasis on administrative simplicity, austerity and efficient use of public resources, in line with the governance approach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister kept his convoy limited to a single bus carrying public representatives and officials. Only three additional vehicles accompanied the convoy for security and essential arrangements.
Officials said the initiative aimed to promote fuel conservation, reduce unnecessary expenditure and reinforce a culture of simple governance.
During the journey, the Chief Minister held discussions with public representatives and senior officials on the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, ongoing development works and public welfare schemes.
