CM: 90% Plots Allotted at Dhar PM MITRA Park

New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Thursday said around 90% of the plots at the PM MITRA Park in Dhar district have been allotted, describing it as a major step towards strengthening the state’s textile and garment industry.

Speaking to media representatives during Bharat Tex 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, CM said the Dhar project is the country’s largest PM MITRA Park for the garment sector. He added that investor interest has grown not only within the park but also in nearby areas, driven by the state’s industrial policies, infrastructure development and availability of raw materials.

The chief minister said Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals worth Rs 1,592 crore in the textile sector during the event. According to him, the proposed investments could generate around 15,700 jobs if implemented.

CM said the state offers a complete textile value chain, from cotton cultivation and yarn production to garment manufacturing. He added that Madhya Pradesh is India’s largest producer of organic cotton and exported textile and garment products worth Rs 11,750 crore to several international markets.

He also said the state has more than 43,000 MSME units operating in the textile and garment sector. According to the chief minister, investments of Rs 2,400 crore have supported employment for more than 300,000 people, while the Dhar PM MITRA Park is expected to attract investments exceeding Rs 20,000 crore.

CM said the state continues to promote industrial growth through incentives, infrastructure development and regional industry conclaves aimed at attracting investment across Madhya Pradesh.
