Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav distributed property ownership certificates to 10 rural beneficiaries under the SVAMITVA Scheme at a programme in Harda district on Friday.
The beneficiaries included Nirbhaydas and Bhaiyalal from Gondagaon village. The certificates provide legal recognition of property rights to eligible rural residents.
CM said the state government aims to ensure that every eligible rural household receives legal ownership documents. He added that the scheme would help rural property owners access bank loans, improve their financial security and benefit from government schemes.
The certificates may also help beneficiaries use their properties for construction and other purposes with greater legal certainty.
The chief minister directed the district collector to speed up the registration process. He instructed officials to ensure that registration documents are prepared strictly according to the details recorded in existing ownership records.
Yadav clarified that the process does not involve a fresh determination of ownership or the creation of new ownership details. He also asked officials to help authorised officers and patwaris perform their duties without unnecessary fear of disciplinary action.
Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Durgadas Uikey, former agriculture minister Kamal Patel, Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal, district officials, public representatives and other beneficiaries attended the programme.
