BHOPAL: Journalists in Bhopal attended an artificial intelligence (AI) verification workshop organised jointly by Google News Initiative and Deshbandhu.
Dr Nimish Kapoor, an AI and fact-checking expert associated with Google, explained how tools such as SynthID and Backstory can help verify AI-generated images and digital content.
The workshop saw participation from a large number of journalists, who discussed generative AI, digital manipulation and the challenges of fact-checking in the digital age.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Palash Surjan, group editor and director of Deshbandhu, thanked Dr Kapoor, the participants and the organisers for their contributions.
