Bhopal Police Hold Anti-Drug Awareness Programme

BHOPAL: Bhopal Police organised a yoga, pranayama and anti-drug awareness programme at the Police Lines in Nehru Nagar on Saturday as part of the Madhya Pradesh Police’s “Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori 2.0” campaign.

The programme was aimed at promoting the physical and mental well-being of police personnel while raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse.

Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar addressed police officers and staff, urging them to stay away from drugs and encourage others in society to adopt a drug-free lifestyle. He also administered an anti-drug pledge to the participants.

During the event, police personnel took part in yoga and pranayama sessions. Speakers highlighted the importance of regular exercise, a balanced lifestyle and staying free from addiction for maintaining good health, discipline and reducing stress.

According to the organisers, the initiative was intended to improve the fitness and work efficiency of police personnel while encouraging them to contribute to building a drug-free society.
