MP’s 22 Players Qualify for Asian Games

Bhopal: Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishvas Sarang met 22 athletes from Madhya Pradesh who have qualified for the upcoming Asian Games at TT Nagar Stadium in Bhopal on Tuesday.

Vishvas Sarang said the selection of 22 athletes is a proud moment for the state. He said their success is the result of hard work, dedicated coaches and continuous support for sports in Madhya Pradesh.

He said the state government is committed to providing modern sports facilities, quality training, sports science, nutrition and other support to help athletes perform well at the international level.

Vishvas Sarang said the people of Madhya Pradesh are proud of the athletes and expressed hope that they will win medals for India and bring glory to the state. He also praised the coaches and sports department officials for helping athletes achieve success at national and international events.

The 22 athletes have qualified in several sports, including athletics, shooting, rifle shooting, canoe slalom, canoeing, kayaking, shotgun shooting, judo and equestrian events. Their qualification highlights the growing strength of Madhya Pradesh in sports ahead of the Asian Games.
