BRICS Guests Enjoy Indore Tour

INDORE: Delegates from 20 BRICS and partner countries visited Indore’s historic Rajwada Palace and a rural market on Wednesday, experiencing the region’s cultural heritage and agricultural diversity.

The visitors were introduced to the city’s history and traditions before touring exhibits featuring agricultural products, handicrafts and rural enterprises from across Madhya Pradesh.

Delegates received a traditional Malwa welcome, watched folk and tribal performances and joined local artists in cultural celebrations.

The group also sampled locally grown mangoes and explored a range of products, including specialty rice, natural honey, textiles and value-added agricultural goods. Many delegates praised the quality of the produce and expressed interest in the state’s farming and rural development initiatives.

The conference has brought together agricultural ministers, officials and experts from BRICS member and partner nations to discuss food security, agricultural trade, climate-resilient farming and innovation.

Industry experts say the event provides Madhya Pradesh with an opportunity to showcase its agricultural strengths, attract investment and expand international cooperation.
