Bhopal, May 14: Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has written a book titled Apnapan based on the personality and working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chouhan shared information about the book through a social media post and announced that it will be launched in Delhi on May 26.
In his post, Chouhan described Apnapan as more than just a book, saying it reflects his 33 years of experiences and interactions with Narendra Modi. He said people across the world know Modi as a political leader, but he had the opportunity to closely observe him as a dedicated worker, spiritual seeker and disciplined administrator.
The Union Minister said he had seen Modi continue working late into the night before resuming public duties the next morning with the same energy and commitment towards national service.
Chouhan also wrote that Modi remains deeply connected to the concerns of poor families, farmers, women, youth and party workers.
Recalling the 1991 Ekta Yatra, Chouhan said many people initially viewed it as a political programme, but Modi transformed it into a movement aimed at strengthening national consciousness. According to Chouhan, Modi believed the national flag should reach not only Lal Chowk in Srinagar but also the hearts of young people across the country.
He said the journey helped him understand that leadership is shaped not only by speeches but also through discipline, dedication, sacrifice and emotional connection with people.

Chouhan added that the book highlights not only important events but also the ideas and vision that inspired major changes in the country. He expressed hope that the publication would motivate young people and those working in social and political fields.
According to him, the book seeks to convey that meaningful change does not always require powerful positions, but strong determination and collective effort.
