MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt starrer Aakhri Sawal has continued to witness a modest run at the box office despite receiving a positive response from sections of the audience.
According to media reports, the film has not yet been released in the United Arab Emirates after the UAE censor authorities reportedly suggested certain cuts and modifications. Reports claimed that the makers chose not to implement the suggested changes and decided to retain the version cleared for theatrical release in India. However, there has been no official confirmation from the film’s producers or UAE authorities regarding a formal ban.
Trade reports stated that the film remains unreleased across several UAE regions, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain, which may have affected its overseas business.

Overseas collections were reported at approximately Rs 10 lakh, while the film’s worldwide gross collection stood at an estimated Rs 2.74 crore.
The film reportedly witnessed some growth over the weekend, offering limited support to its domestic performance.
