BHOPAL: A campus placement drive at the Government Divisional Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Govindpura, has resulted in the preliminary selection of 1,203 candidates.
The recruitment event, organised in collaboration with Trident Group, attracted 1,410 candidates from across Madhya Pradesh, including ITI and polytechnic students, graduates, and Class 10 and Class 12 pass-outs.
Candidates from engineering and non-engineering disciplines underwent interviews and skill assessments conducted by company representatives. Following the evaluation process, 1,203 candidates were shortlisted for the next stage of recruitment.
The participants represented a range of trades, including electrician, fitter, turner, machinist, welder, computer operator and programming assistant (COPA), diesel mechanic, motor vehicle mechanic, electronics mechanic, wireman, plumber, refrigeration and air-conditioning technician, civil draughtsman, dressmaking and sewing technology.
The shortlisted candidates will be considered for employment after completing the company’s remaining selection procedures.
Officials said such placement drives are being organised regularly to connect skilled youth with employment opportunities and meet industry workforce requirements.
