Indore: Police have detained three men in connection with an alleged chain-snatching incident in Indore’s Malharganj area and said a gold chain believed to have been stolen has been recovered.
According to police, the incident occurred four days ago when a woman was walking to a Jain temple in the morning. She alleged that three men on a motorcycle snatched her gold chain and fled the spot.
Police reviewed CCTV footage from the area and carried out a technical investigation to trace the suspects’ movements. Based on the evidence collected during the investigation, three men were taken into custody.
Officials said a gold chain, believed to be the one reported stolen, has been recovered during the investigation.
Police are verifying the background of the accused and examining whether they may have links to any similar cases. The investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the probe.
