Bhopal Collector Launches DM Pragati Portal to Monitor Key Projects and Improve Coordination
Bhopal Collector Priyank Mishra has launched the DM Pragati Portal to ensure regular monitoring of key government projects across the district. The new digital platform will help departments share real-time project updates, improve coordination and complete development works within the prescribed timeline.
The Collector also reviewed preparations for the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026 and directed all district officials to conduct mandatory field visits every Friday under the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Campaign.
Bhopal Collector Introduces Digital Monitoring System
Chairing the weekly review meeting of time-bound cases on Monday, Mishra said the DM Pragati Portal has been developed to track major Central and State government projects in Bhopal. The portal will monitor major infrastructure projects, Metro projects, MSME initiatives and other department-led development works.
Officials have been directed to update project details regularly. Each department will receive a separate login ID and password, allowing the Collector to monitor project progress, timelines and coordination through a single digital platform.
The district administration said the system will improve coordination among departments, identify delays at an early stage and help ensure projects are completed within the prescribed timeline.
Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign to Begin on August 9
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, which will be held across Bhopal district from August 9 to August 17 under the directions of the Ministry of Culture and the Directorate of Swaraj Sansthan.
The campaign aims to encourage every citizen to hoist the national flag at their homes while following the Flag Code of India.
The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat has been appointed as the nodal officer for rural areas, while the Municipal Corporation Commissioner will coordinate activities in urban areas.
The district administration will organise a Tiranga Rally and other public programmes to mark 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’ during the campaign. Citizens have also been urged to participate actively and display the national flag with dignity and respect.
Officials to Conduct Weekly Field Visits
The Collector instructed all Additional District Magistrates, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Chief Executive Officers of Janpad Panchayats, revenue officers and district-level officials to carry out mandatory field visits every Friday under the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Campaign 2026.
Officials will inspect villages, urban areas, government institutions and ongoing development projects. They have also been asked to interact directly with public representatives and local residents and resolve public grievances on the spot wherever possible.
Departments must prepare their weekly visit schedules in advance and submit them to the district administration and the district panchayat office.
The campaign will also review pending matters related to the Revenue Department, the Public Service Guarantee Act, Chief Minister Helpline, public grievance applications, the Farmer ID programme, Ayushman Bharat Cards, Samagra e-KYC, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Officials Must Submit Inspection Reports Promptly
During the field visits, officials will inspect anganwadi centres, schools, health institutions, drinking water facilities and construction works. They have been directed to verify the quality and progress of ongoing projects and ensure that any shortcomings are addressed within the prescribed timeline.
The Collector instructed officials to submit a brief inspection report, photographs and details of action taken on public complaints either on the same day or by the next working morning. The reports must be submitted to both the Collector’s office and the district panchayat office.
He also directed all departments to strictly follow the State government’s instructions to improve public service delivery and strengthen accountability across the district.
