Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Krishna Gaur on Wednesday launched development works worth Rs 46 lakh in Bhopal’s Govindpura Assembly constituency.
Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony in Awdhpuri under Ward 61, the minister said public participation is essential for the overall development of any area. She added that people’s trust and support continue to inspire her public service.
The projects include road improvements, drainage works, temple facilities and other public infrastructure aimed at improving civic amenities in the locality.
Roads, Temple Facilities and Public Amenities Approved
Krishna Gaur laid the foundation stone for a shed and platform at Shri Krishneshwar Mahadev Temple in Crystal Campus, Awdhpuri, at a cost of Rs 6 lakh. Flooring work in Tulsi Nagar Phase-I was also launched.
She said religious places serve as important centres of social and cultural life. The new facilities will improve convenience for devotees and support community events.
The minister also inaugurated the construction of a CC road, drain and road crossing in Lav Kush Nagar at a cost of Rs 20 lakh.
Development works worth Rs 10 lakh were also launched for a CC road in Abhinav Regal Homes and the construction of a public shed in Shiv Lok Phase-IV.
Minister Calls for Timely Completion
Krishna Gaur directed officials to complete all projects within the scheduled timeline while maintaining quality and transparency.
She assured residents that public demands related to civic infrastructure would be addressed on priority to improve facilities across the constituency.
The programme was attended by corporator Madhu Shivnani, B. Shaktirao, Ganesh Ram Nagar, Sanjay Shivnani and local residents.
