BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred eight IAS officers as part of an administrative reshuffle, according to media reports.
Parth Jaiswal has been appointed as the new collector of Shahdol, while Mrinal Meena will take charge as the collector of Chhatarpur. Kumar Satyam has been appointed as the collector of Balaghat.
Misha Singh, who was earlier appointed as Shahdol collector, has been moved to the Urban Development and Housing Department in Bhopal as Additional Commissioner. The change was made after she requested a posting in Bhopal or Indore, according to media reports.
Aditya Garg has been removed as Mandsaur collector and appointed as Project Director of the Madhya Pradesh Skill Development Project. He will also serve as the CEO of the State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board.
The government has also changed postings in departments including Food, Technical Education, Skills Development, Employment and General Administration.
Swarochish Somvanshi has been given additional charge of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, along with his existing responsibilities.
The transfers are part of the state government’s ongoing administrative restructuring exercise.
