MP Launches 24×7 Green Energy Project, Says CM Mohan Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Wednesday said Madhya Pradesh has launched an ambitious MP 24×7 Green Energy Project to provide round-the-clock renewable power and strengthen the state’s clean energy capacity.

Dr. Yadav addressed the pre-bid meeting for the project virtually from his official residence. The meeting was held at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi and brought together government officials and representatives from leading power companies.

The Chief Minister said the project fulfils the state’s commitment made at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He added that Madhya Pradesh is moving quickly towards ensuring the availability of 24-hour green energy.

CM Highlights MP’s Renewable Energy Track Record

Dr. Yadav said Madhya Pradesh has built a strong reputation in the renewable energy sector. He said the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project achieved one of India’s lowest solar power tariffs and earned global recognition.

He added that the solar parks in Shajapur and Neemuch recorded the state’s lowest tariff of Rs 2.14 per unit.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the recently signed power purchase agreement for the four-hour storage project in Morena. He said the project secured a tariff of Rs 2.70 per unit, making it one of the country’s most competitive energy storage projects.

State Invites Investment in Clean Energy

Dr. Yadav said the state government offers transparent policies, faster decision-making and quality infrastructure for investors.

He invited companies from India and abroad to invest in Madhya Pradesh’s growing renewable energy sector. He said the government’s aim is to make the state a national leader in green energy, energy security and sustainable development.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the new project would strengthen India’s energy security while supporting cleaner and more reliable power generation.

The pre-bid meeting was attended by New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava and representatives of Tata Power, Reliance Energy, Torrent Power, Jindal Renewable, NTPC, Adani Green, Hindustan Power and Mahindra Susten.
