A woman in Bhopal has accused police of failing to act after she was allegedly assaulted in front of officers at Gautam Nagar police station. The allegation surfaced through a video that has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the woman claims she had gone to the police station to lodge a complaint. She alleges that the accused slapped her in the presence of police personnel, but no action was taken against him.
The woman also accused Gautam Nagar police station in-charge Mohammed Gauri Khan of misbehaving with her. According to her, the officer asked about her father. When she replied that he lives in Kanpur, she alleged that she was told to “go and complain in Kanpur”. She further claimed that abusive language was used during the interaction.

The woman said she did not receive any help despite raising the matter with police. She warned that she would go directly to the Chief Minister’s residence to seek justice if no action was taken.
The official version of the Bhopal Police has not been released so far. The report will be updated after the police issue a response or provide details about the incident.
“The woman alleges she was assaulted in front of police personnel and did not receive any action on her complaint. The police response is still awaited.”
