Jabalpur: A group of unidentified youths allegedly hurled bombs at a house in Karmeta area of Jabalpur, causing panic among residents. The incident took place on Wednesday and was captured on CCTV cameras.
According to police, the attackers targeted a house in the area and fled shortly after the incident. Residents informed the police and submitted CCTV footage as part of their complaint.
Residents have alleged that the accused had demanded Rs 1 lakh as extortion money before the attack. Police are investigating the allegation and efforts are underway to identify and arrest those involved.
The incident has created fear among locals. Police said further action will be taken after verification of the facts and completion of the investigation.
