Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has urged people in the state to join a special online yoga session on June 14, ahead of International Yoga Day.
CM said yoga is an important part of India’s ancient tradition. He urged citizens to include yoga in their daily routine to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
The chief minister said International Yoga Day has become a global movement. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts for increasing awareness about yoga worldwide.
The Ayush Ministry will organise the online session from 6:30 am to 7:35 am on June 14. The programme is part of the countdown activities for International Yoga Day 2026.
The session aims to encourage more people to practise yoga and promote health awareness. CM invited youth, women, students, senior citizens, government employees and social organisations to take part.
He said yoga can help create a healthier society and asked people to contribute to the vision of a developed India.
