The Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department has released the second round seat allotment for NCTE courses for the 2026-27 academic session. A total of 18,563 students have been allotted seats in various colleges after document verification.
According to the department, 99,597 students have registered for admission to NCTE courses so far. Of these, documents of 78,784 students have been verified.
During the second round, 21,242 students registered for counselling. Officials verified the documents of 19,166 candidates before allotting seats to 18,563 students.
Earlier, 16,856 students secured admission through the first round. With the latest allotment, the total number of students offered seats across the first two rounds has reached 35,419.
Students allotted seats in the second round must pay the prescribed admission fee and complete all formalities at their allotted colleges between June 29 and July 4 to confirm their admission.

The Higher Education Department said nearly 2 lakh students have already secured admission to undergraduate courses, while around 60,000 students have taken admission to postgraduate programmes. Overall, about 2.78 lakh students have enrolled in various courses offered by the department for the 2026-27 academic session.
The department has advised all allotted students to complete the admission process within the prescribed deadline. It has also directed colleges to ensure that admissions are completed in a transparent and time-bound manner.
