BHOPAL: A young entrepreneur from Bhopal has exported 46,000 iced tea premix packs to France, marking a milestone for the city’s growing startup ecosystem.
The shipment was made by a Bhopal-based food products company that specialises in tea-based beverages. The export highlights rising international demand for value-added products developed by small and medium-sized businesses in Madhya Pradesh.
A certified tea taster, the entrepreneur said the company focuses on quality, innovation and consumer preferences while developing products for domestic and international markets.
The company said its iced tea premix range has received a positive response from buyers overseas, helping it expand its presence in Europe.
The entrepreneur credited state startup and MSME support programmes, along with participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, for helping the company connect with international buyers and explore export opportunities.
Industry experts said the achievement demonstrates the growing ability of startups from Madhya Pradesh to compete in global markets.
The export success also highlights how innovation, entrepreneurship and better market access can help local businesses build a strong international presence.
