Tikamgarh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Friday interacted with CM Helpline complainants during the Samadhan Online programme in Tikamgarh and directed officials to resolve their grievances within the stipulated time, as per media reports.
CM also directed the suspension of the District Registrar, Cooperative Societies, over alleged negligence in the discharge of his duties.
The action followed a complaint that the Mawai branch of the Cooperative Bank had failed to transfer the amount due to the nominee account after the death of the complainant’s mother.
The chief minister instructed officials to ensure the prompt resolution of CM Helpline complaints and directed departmental officers to regularly visit the field and review the implementation of government schemes.
He said action would be taken against officials and employees found negligent in their duties, while those delivering outstanding work would be recognised and rewarded.
CM also discussed measures to ensure that fair-price shops in Tikamgarh operate from their designated locations.
Senior state and district officials were present during the meeting.
