A six-year-old boy from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh has won a Toyota Fortuner worth around Rs 50 lakh in a lucky draw after his grandmother purchased a coupon for just Rs 200 at a Garba event.
Medansh Raikwar, a resident of Seelampura, won the first prize in a lucky draw organised at Shri Sarkar Dham in Abhapuri. His name was entered into the draw by his grandmother, Kiran Raikwar, who bought the coupon during a Garba event nearly a year ago.
The unexpected win brought immense joy to the family, which had reportedly been hoping to own a car for the past two years.
When Medansh was announced as the winner in 2026, the family celebrated the moment with great enthusiasm. Drums were played as the young boy arrived to claim his prize, while relatives and local residents gathered to congratulate him.
The family also performed a traditional puja for the new vehicle, seeking blessings on the occasion.
