Teachers Face E-Attendance Issues Across MP Schools

BHOPAL: Government school teachers across Madhya Pradesh reportedly faced difficulties marking their e-attendance on Thursday due to a technical issue in the School Education Department’s ‘Hamare Shikshak’ app.

According to media reports, the app did not display the morning and full-day shift options. Instead, teachers could see only afternoon, on-duty (OD) and night shift options. Changes in login timings reportedly added to the problem, preventing several teachers from recording their attendance online.

Upendra Kaushal, working president of the Government Teachers’ Organisation, Madhya Pradesh, raised the issue with the department and sought an immediate technical fix.

He urged the department to recognise attendance recorded in school registers for teachers affected by the glitch and ensure that no salary deductions or other adverse action are taken against them.

He also called for all shift options to be restored and login timings to be aligned with actual school schedules, saying teachers should not face difficulties because of technical problems.
