Suvendu Adhikari Bengal development will gain momentum under the new leadership, Mohan Yadav said on Friday. He expressed confidence that Suvendu Adhikari would lead West Bengal towards faster growth, stronger governance and better public welfare delivery.

The Chief Minister made the remarks during his visit to New Delhi, where he met Nitin Nabin and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Yadav congratulated Adhikari on his selection for the leadership role in West Bengal and said the new administration would focus on development, welfare measures and transparent governance.
Bengal to see faster progress under new leadership
The Chief Minister said Union Home Minister Amit Shah had played a key role in the democratic leadership selection process.
He said the people of West Bengal had shown confidence in a new political direction during the 75th year of India’s Independence. According to Yadav, the incoming leadership would work to strengthen governance and improve public welfare delivery across the state.
“West Bengal will move forward rapidly in the areas of development and public welfare under the new leadership,” he said.
Yadav discusses development agenda with Nitin Nabin
During his meeting with Nitin Nabin, Yadav discussed organisational matters, national issues and development-related subjects. He also invited the Rajya Sabha member to visit Madhya Pradesh officially.
The Chief Minister said the state government was accelerating development projects with the support and coordination of the Centre. He added that both governments were working together to ensure effective implementation of public welfare schemes.
Dharmendra Pradhan to visit Madhya Pradesh next month
Yadav also met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and briefed him on Madhya Pradesh’s progress in the education sector.
The Chief Minister said Madhya Pradesh was among the first states to implement the National Education Policy-2020. He said the government had prioritised quality improvement in education, Indian knowledge systems, technical learning and skill development.
Yadav said Sandipani schools in the state were being developed as model institutions.
According to the Chief Minister, Pradhan will visit Madhya Pradesh next month to review the functioning of Sandipani schools and discuss employment-oriented education initiatives for youth. During his proposed two-day visit, the Union Minister will also review efforts to equip students with modern and industry-relevant skills.
