BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Home Department transferred 65 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and other State Police Service (SPS) officers in a major administrative reshuffle.
The transfer order includes changes to the postings of City Superintendents of Police (CSPs) in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Pithampur. Several SPS officers have also been assigned to urban policing roles in Bhopal and Indore.
As part of the reshuffle, 18 DSP-rank officers were posted as Assistant Commandants with the Hawk Force in Balaghat district, a specialised anti-Naxal unit. The officers include Udit Mishra, Abhilash Kumar Bhalavi, Akash Amalkar, Ravi Soner, Umesh Prajapati, Ritesh Kumar Shiv, Ravindra Singh Rathi, Ayush Kumar Alawa, Sachin Patel, Kundan Mandloi, Rahul Kumar Saiyyam, Akshay Choudhary, Atul Kumar Soni, Aman Mishra, Rohit Rathore and Rakesh Arya.
The Home Department also appointed four SPS officers as Sub-Divisional Officers of Police (SDOPs) in Balaghat district. Deepak Tomar was posted to Lanji, Chandrashekhar Pandey to Baihar and Abhishek Gautam to Paraswada, according to the transfer order.
