Bhopal divisional commissioner orders quick disposal of pending CM Helpline complaints

Sanjeev Singh on Friday directed officials to prioritise the disposal of CM Helpline complaints pending for more than 100 days and warned of strict action against officers found negligent in resolving public grievances.

The instructions were issued during a time-limit review meeting held at the divisional commissioner’s office in Bhopal. The commissioner expressed concern over the rising number of long-pending CM Helpline complaints and asked departments to ensure accountability at every level.

CM Helpline complaints and wheat procurement reviewed

During the meeting, the commissioner also reviewed the ongoing wheat procurement process. He directed Food Supply Controller Chandrabhan Singh Jadaun to ensure smooth procurement operations and provide all necessary facilities for farmers at procurement centres.

Officials were instructed to maintain proper slot booking, transportation arrangements, adequate availability of gunny bags and timely payment to farmers. The commissioner also asked officials to prepare detailed data regarding the remaining procurement area and farmers across all districts in the division.

Ayushman Vay Vandana Card campaign to be intensified

Reviewing the work of the Women and Child Development Department, the commissioner instructed officials to update children’s registration details on the Poshan Tracker portal. He also directed authorities to begin construction work for new anganwadi buildings in urban areas of Bhopal district at the earliest.

The commissioner further ordered action against the divisional joint director of the Urban Development and Housing Department for remaining absent repeatedly from time-limit meetings.

During the review, Sanjeev Singh also instructed the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Bhopal to launch a joint campaign for preparing Ayushman Vay Vandana Cards for all eligible senior citizens aged 70 years and above.

Officials from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Health Department and urban local bodies were asked to work together to achieve 100 per cent coverage. Under the scheme, eligible senior citizens receive cashless medical treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh annually.

Joint Commissioner Development Vinod Yadav, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Kiran Gupta and other divisional officials attended the meeting.
