BHOPAL: West Central Railway’s Bhopal Division has established special help booths at major railway stations to assist candidates appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2026 on June 21.
The initiative aims to ensure smooth travel and hassle-free access to examination centres for thousands of students expected to arrive in cities across the division.
Help booths have been set up at railway stations in Bhopal, Vidisha, Hoshangabad, Guna and Ashoknagar, where railway personnel will provide information on routes to examination centres, local transport services, station facilities and other essential travel-related assistance.
Railway authorities have also strengthened enquiry services and public announcement systems at stations to improve passenger support during the examination period.
Additional staff from the Railway Protection Force, commercial and operations departments have been deployed to manage passenger movement and maintain orderly operations at stations and platforms. Arrangements for crowd management, queue regulation and passenger guidance have also been made.
According to railway estimates, about 13,774 candidates are expected to appear for the examination in Bhopal, followed by 1,839 in Guna, 1,709 in Vidisha, 1,283 in Hoshangabad and 865 in Ashoknagar.
The railway administration has advised candidates and their guardians to arrive at stations well in advance and seek assistance from the designated help booths or railway staff whenever required.
