CM Meets MP Board Topper Chandni in State Capital

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav met MP Board Class 12 state topper Chandni Vishwakarma during a public outreach programme in Bhim Nagar, Bhopal, on Monday.

Chandni, who scored a perfect 500 out of 500 marks in the Class 12 board examination, said the chief minister assured her of support for her higher education. He also promised assistance to improve her family’s housing conditions.

Chandni lives with her family in a one-room house in the Bhim Nagar slum area. According to officials, the chief minister said arrangements would be made either to construct a new house for the family or to repair the existing one.

Speaking during the visit, CM Mohan Yadav praised Chandni’s achievement and said she had earned recognition through hard work and determination despite difficult circumstances.

The chief minister also assured support for Chandni’s future studies and discussed the family’s concerns during the interaction.

Chandni said she hopes to join the Indian Army as a lieutenant. She described the chief minister’s visit as a dream come true and said she had never expected him to visit her home.

Her parents said they informed the chief minister about the family’s challenges, including inadequate living space. They said he assured them that the government would extend all possible assistance.
