Actor Saif Ali Khan has joked about attending parent-teacher association (PTA) meetings at the same school for 35 years, according to media reports.
Saif made the remarks while appearing with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the OTT platform Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show. During the conversation, the actor recalled attending his first PTA meeting at the age of 20 and continuing to visit the school at 55.
He said the teachers had changed over the years, but he remained the same parent. Saif also mentioned that his four children were at different stages of their education.
The conversation turned to the couple’s family plans when Kareena jokingly responded to comments about Saif having a child every decade. She made it clear, in a light-hearted exchange, that she did not plan to have another child with him.
The couple also shared anecdotes about their household habits. Saif revealed that Kareena applied ghee to her feet at night, joking that the smell sometimes made their bedroom resemble a roadside eatery.
Saif and Kareena married in October 2012 and have two sons, Taimur and Jeh. Saif also has two older children, Sara and Ibrahim, from his previous marriage to actor Amrita Singh.
The couple have worked together in several films, including Tashan, Kurbaan and Agent Vinod.
