Sonam Denies Nepal Escape Claims

INDORE: Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused in the murder case of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, has denied allegations that she fled to Nepal after being granted conditional bail.

According to media reports, Sonam appeared before reporters outside a court and rejected claims made by Raja’s elder brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, who alleged that she had left the country and called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the case.

“I have not gone to Nepal. People are spreading false information about me. I appeal to the public not to believe such rumours,” Sonam said.

She said she was complying with all conditions imposed by the court and would continue to follow its directions.

Sonam said she is currently residing in Shillong and has not travelled outside the city since being granted bail. She declined to disclose details about her expenses, describing the matter as personal.

She also said she could not reveal her exact location in Shillong for security reasons.

Responding to speculation about whether she planned to leave Shillong or return to Indore, Sonam said she would remain in the city while legal proceedings continue.

“My case is still being heard here. Until it is concluded, I will not go anywhere,” she said.

When asked about public opinion surrounding the case, Sonam declined to comment, stating that the matter is before the court.

She also said she would continue to cooperate with the judicial process and respect the court’s decisions.
